THE OPPORTUNITY: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you are a key member to the Firm’s Finance team that will work directly with clients, attorneys and other members of the Finance team, to ensure timely processing of client payments, working with the billing team to resolve any outstanding items in a timely manner. You will work with various clients/attorneys to research and obtain proper documentation to resolve matters that require immediate attention. Your additional tasks may include production of spreadsheets and/or reports on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs of the department. THE DAY-TO-DAY: - Timely and accurate posting of the daily check and wire deposits for domestic and international offices.
- Reconciliation of deposits to ensure proper posting.
- Assist with the month-end reconciliation process.
- Process credit card transactions.
- Resolve requests from the A/R inbox in a timely manner.
- Process client refunds through the firm’s workflow system.
- Assist with client retainer deposits and applications
- Establish and maintain effective cooperative working relationship with legal staff and members of the Finance team.
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties as assigned
YOU HAVE: - Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and professional in a team working environment.
- Detail oriented, dependable, flexible and efficient.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; Aderant software experience preferred.
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY: As a case assistant in the firm’s dynamic and diverse, Labor and Employment Practice you will focus on immigration compliance projects including Form I-9 and E-Verify issues, as well as support with government investigations. THE OPPORTUNITY: As a Litigation Legal Secretary, you will provide a variety of secretarial and administrative duties for assigned attorneys. - Maintain good public relations with clients.

- Prepare documents and packages for mail, messenger and overnight delivery.
- Prepare expense reports, manage vendor invoices, mailings, and request checks as needed.
- Enter attorney time.Send time entry reminders.
- Assist with review and edit of bills as necessary.
- Schedule appointment and make arrangements for meetings, conferences and travel.
- Complete client/matter intake forms.Request conflicts of interest checks.Open new files.Prepare files to be closed.
- Coordinate and follow through on requests and projects with other support departments (e.g., word processing, receptionists, file/document clerks, office services).
- Provide overflow and absence coverage assistance as well as secretarial support for Secretarial Team Members’ attorneys.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
YOU HAVE: - 5-8 years of litigation secretarial experience preferred. (Labor and Employment experience is a plus).
- Recent experience at a large, national firm.
- Strong proofreading skills, attention to detail and solid grammar/spelling skills.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Legal citation and legal terminology expertise.
- Familiarity with Carpe Diem, Elite, iManage, Chrome River, Forte or similar technology.
- The ability to organize, prioritize and meet the demands off multiple attorney assignments.
- Flexibility to work overtime occasionally.
- Good attendance and punctuality.

Los Angeles: The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $119,000 annually, which is based on a 40 hour work week.
